#1- Working on that. I'm going to change so that there are default credentials and folder credentials

#2- This is because the movie was created twice in themovedb.com. The user who created the 2nd entry probably noticed and renamed it w/o letting the moderators know. I'll submit a request to have it deleted and add an ignore list to Yammm with "please delete"
    Awesome, thanks!

    Hi Guys,

I have upgraded to 7MC and have installed YAMMM (great app by the way).
I have one question though and sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.
I have YAMMM setup to create a .wvx playlist when it encounters a multi-file movie and hide the parts which it does exactly as designed. the problem is is that all parts including the playlist is listed in the media center movie library. How can I get it to show only the playlist?

    thanks,

    Degs

Hi Degs, welcome to the forums.

I think 7MC will pick up any movie file but Yammm creates a playlist (as you said) so you can play 1 file seamlessly without needing to finish 1 file then start another. Maybe Mikinho (who also reads this thread) will have a better answer for you.

It is a bug in W7 Movie Library that I am hoping will be fixed in RTM (July 13th I'll know for sure). If it is not fixed I'll publish a work-around in Yammm that does work but involves moving files around. I didn't want to do that unless really needed. I'll keep you posted.

Just wanted to give an update. I believe I have all my improvements for Yammm 1.2 done. Some things didn't get in there that I wanted but I'll get to them soon as well. I'm still setting up the website and updating my server (recently switched from a Cisco 831 to pfSense running as a virtual on W2K8 R2 RC1....it rocks) but it will be released this week.

A couple of niggles that I cant seem to figure out. I have a few movies that YAMM couldn't get data from. I have moved these to a different file so that my library would only display those movies that had artwork/synopsis downloaded. I thought that YAAMM would remove these as they were no longer in the active library, but no luck. I tried to delete them within the Media Center, but that doesnt work either.... Can I somehow access the library file that YAMM creates and edit these rouge files out??

My second and major concern is that after scrolling through the movies, I suddenly get a double listing .... is this a bug or is there a way to correct this??

Both are bugs in MC7 Movie Library. Yammm doesn't update\modify the MC7 library though I have thought about it doing so and I may if RTM doesn't do a better job of synchronizing changes.

What folders does Yammm not find matches for? Instead of moving them I can help get that matched properly either by code improvements or by entering the data into themoviedb.com.

It's a bug in 7MC that causes deleted movies to appear because of the cache files, although deleteing the cache does not help either.

The best way around it is to remove the folders from 7MC by removing the added library folders. Then re-setup the library with the same folder & you should find that previously deleted files are now gone, at least it did for me on several occasions.

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the answers Mikinho and Orbital Shark. Ill wait for the guys at Microsoft to sort out their stuff.
So the RTM (dont know what this stands for, thats how much of a noob I am!) will be released on the 13th July? Will it still be free like the RC1?'

    thanks guys,
