Media Streaming w/ Media Center

Hi, I am wanting to stream movies I have on my PC through my internet to my TV in the living room, but I can't seem to find any type of equipment that does this other than to possibly buy another $200 Xbox 360 to stick in the Living Room for watching movies. the TV I am hoping to stream to is an Insignia NS-PDP50, and the computer is a Compaq Presario CQ5205Y. The Wireless Modem is a Netgear Wireless-N that I do not know the model number on.

There are several extenders out there. Which one you buy depends on what kind of media you want to stream. There's the WD TV Live, the Linksys DMA2100, the Xbox 360, the Popcorn Hour A-200 or C-200, and probably one or two more that I forgot. Read about each one and buy the one that best meets your needs.

I use an Asus OPlay to play movies from an external hard drive connected to it. It will also play videos stored on a computer via wireless.
Has nothing to do with Media Center.
