| | Media Center guide update problem with firewall Operating System:Windows 7 I am having trouble with media center tv guide update. I've tried auto update, or download in media center manually. The icon in system tray stuck at downloading EpgListing.enc at 0%. I turned on blocking outbound by default in Windows Firewall. If I turn that off, the update seems to work just fine. However, adding mcupdate.exe to the outbound rule does not help. Any other program needs internet access (inbound or outbound) in Windows Firewall to get TV guide update? Or is there any other settings missing? Thanks! |
