I have two AverMedia AVerTVHD Duet tuner cards installed in a stand alone computer that is functioning as a media center. This gives me a total of 4 tuners. Everything works fine, until I schedule a two hour show, with a couple of one hour shows during the same two hour period, meaning I need at least 3 tuners active. WMC will disconnect one of the tuners, leaving me with 2 tuners. I then have to reenter the WMC TV setup to get the other 2 tuners active again. I can find all the tuners in TV signal strength, which shows both of the tuner cards, and the 4 tuners.
The computer is running Windows 7 Enterprise, which is current.
Is there any way to get WMC to recognize the other tuner card besides going through the entire setup process?
