erRecvr.exe causes system problems
I noticed a problem with Windows 7 not responding - just a second of non-response every 2 or 3 seconds over and over and over. The mouse would stop during movement, buttons would not react, scrollbars would just stop scrolling. No warning, just this funky glitching. Task Manager would show dozens of CPU spikes under performance, but processes didn't show any processes using that much CPU.
erRecvr.exe was active under the CPU users, but Media Center wasn't active at the time. Stopping the erRecvr.exe process ended the system stuttering but now, naturally, I can't use my tuner to view Live TV.
I know Microsoft has recently updated Media Center and Hauppage updated their software as well.
Anybody have a solution other then reverting to a previous backup image?
