Hi,
Is anyone running into issues with WMP 12 in build 7100 and the WMP database not updating?
I've added new content to my music library, the new content shows up in my Music library in Explorer, and yet it's not there in WMP?!
Some times I have to close WMP, leave it for a bit, then launch it again, leave it for a bit, and it _might_ pick up the new content...

Hi jessica,
i too have experienced some wacky things dealing with the WMP indexing and updating the database. Weird refreshes, showing different folder "dirs", shows the root instead of the actual shared folder thats on the root. Wouldnt update the star ratings. This was done after multiple restarts of WMP. Letting it sit for a few hours accounting for the large library to index. Even after the index service stops and so does the WMP updating library. Still have quirky issues. Am hoping that a later build will fix this.
That doesn't sound very encouraging.
I also noticed when I played those missing files from using Play shortcuts in Explorer, that they weren't seekable and had no track length information.
Maybe I should delete my database, assume it's corrupted itself -- seems a common thing with WMP 12.
Noticed the files showed up fine on other machine when I copied them over.
WMP 12 seems to be the best and worst release simultaneously =/
