Here's a list of free programs and plugins for Windows Media Center:


Media Center Studio

This is a program to change the theme and personalize the start menu of Windows Media Center. You can install pre-made themes or create your own. You can add, hide, rearange and rename menu items. It's also possible to add other programs to the start menu. With one click you can revert back to the original settings of Windows Media Center. It is still a beta and some people from certain country's reported that they don't get the menu changed but here in the Netherlands it works perfectly.

My Channel Logos

This program will add television channel logos to the Windows Media Center program guide. It has a database for the channel logos used in different country's but you can add your own logos if your country is not in the database.

RadioTime

With this plugin you can listen to thousands of internet radio stations listed at RadioTime.com. You can browse by station type and it has a seperate menu for your local radio stations. If you want to use the presets option you need to set up a free account at RadioTime.com. For Windows 7 users you need to download the installer from the link below the Get It Now button.

MC7 Sleep Timer

This plugin adds a sleeptimer function to Windows Media Center. You can set up a custom time and to switch off the monitor. At the moment it doesn't work with extenders.
