    Xbox 360 Media Center Extender

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (Firewall disabled.)

Router: Linksys WRT54G (Firewall also disabled.)

    Wired Connection
    ----------------------------------------------
I've set up my 360 to be used with WMC. The setup process went fine, I was able to connect to the computer with no problems. But once I get into Windows Media Center on the 360 it constantly crashes every few minutes giving an error similar to:
    Connection Failed
The Xbox 360 cannot connect to the Media Center based PC. Make sure the Media Center based PC is turned on and connected to the network. If you continue to see this error, check Media Center Extender Help on your Media Center based PC.
I've tried several things but nothings working. I'm not part of a Domain, it doesn't appear to be a firewall, no anti virus etc.

Event Viewer shows these errors each time I connect/disconnect to WMC on the 360.
    "Warning"
An unauthorized window was detected while running Windows Media Center, 'Windows Media Center', with file name 'C:\Windows\ehome\ehshell.exe'.
    "Error"
The Quality Windows Audio Video Experience service depends on the QWAVE driver service which failed to start because of the following error:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.
So Windows Media Center is unauthorized to run while Windows Media Center is running? Ohok.

Any and all help is appreciated. If you need anymore information just ask.

    Hi,
What I would recommend first is totally starting from scratch. Go into the xbox and remove it as an extender. Go into Media Center and remove any extenders. Uninstall Windows Media Center from Control Panel > Programs and Features > "Turn Windows Features On and Off" > "Media Features", reboot, then re-install WMC. Then start over from scratch. I have seen a few weird issues that were cleared up this way.

I had to clean install because of BSOD on startup and it's working fine now.
