There is nothing weird about my release schedule. I simply do not have a schedule. If you were to follow my forum you would understand why I release, what I release, and when I release it. Specific people, with specific issues come to my forum seeking help. Often that help is delivered to them in a new release.

Now the weird part is users who update every single release while thier current release is functioning fine. Why do you do that? The fact that you may have some weird need to have the latest release doesnt make my releases weird. I have often said, and i will say it again, users should probably be updating thier codecs monthly. The software has a builtin reminder to update once your current install is older than 45 days. I am sorry to hear you have some weird need to install every released version.

I bet you have never even seen the update notification dialog.

No offense meant, it's just that I've not seen other programs being listed as final when an update is released.

I've got to the point where I pick and choose and update my codecs manually.
