Unable to Stream Internet TV or Netflix
Yesterday I successfully activated windows media center. I signed up for Netflix and was able to stream a movie. A couple of hours later I attempted to connect to Internet TV. My system allowed me to connect to Windows Media Center see the Program Guide or directly go to Internet TV, search through the programs and received the information about the program but when I hit play all I get is a blank screen. When I attempt to connect to Netflix the same thing happens except when I hit play I receive the message "Navigation to the web page was cancelled"
I have McAfee Total Protection and when I was working on Windows Media Center,Internet TV & Netflix I received a couple of warning pop-ups from McAfee. I don't remember what they said but I instructed them to block it. I am wondering if I have blocked access to the Internet through McAfee but don't know how to confirm if this is the problem and if it is how to undo it.
All I know is everything was working and now it is not. I'm not sure what other information I need to supply, so please let me know.
I am a novice in figuring this stuff out, so your patience in deciphering my description of the problem is very much appreciated . I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and my browser is Internet Explorer 8.
