How to Add movies to WMC

What format does Windows Media Center use? Because when I have it look for movies it never finds anything but if i right click a movie and tell it to open with WMC it works fine. How do I directly load movies to WMC then?

You have two options for loading watching movies in MC7. 1- Video Library; 2- Movie Library. Each has their own "library" that you'll have to add watched folders to.
