1st of all I want to thank Vipermk2 for helping you along this far. :)

For the multiple audio tracks in an AVI . . .

Currently, because of locked down codecs in Windows 7, and the fact that I'm not into hacking a BETA Operating System, you'll need to use an alternate player other than the players supplied by Microsoft. Also, depending on the platform of the player you choose to use, 32bit or 64bit, you will have to set Gabest as the splitter using the appropriate Settings Application.

If choosing one of the experimental MPC Homecinema players (there are 32bit and 64bit versions) you will need to manually turn off all of its internal codecs. To do this, navigate the players menu's, View / Options / Internal Filters, and remove all of the CHECKS except AVI in the upper left.

If you prefer the tried, and tested Media Player Classic, available from my Tools page you will only need to install it.

Lastly, to select the audio track of choice, with the video loaded, pause it, navigate the menu's, play / audio, and you will see the available tracks to choose from.

One other thing that may interest you, open the 32bit Settings Application, go to the Help TAB, set Windows Media Player file associations from there. This setting is global and affects both 32bit and 64bit players. If the 64bit player is selected before using this function, all new filetypes enabled by my releases are set to the 64bit player

thank you for the reply but trying your codecs with mpc the result is a pixelated video, same as vlc's one.

ALL CHECKS must be removed from left and right sides.

Music for my eyes. you're welcome, spread the news.

And Henry, for a guy that had a grudge for codecpacks, I'm kinda new on this scene,
but I work really hard at not screwing up peoples systems.
