no FFDaudio in WMC with Shark007 codecs?

Hi,

I installed the Shark007 codecs (incl. 64 bit addon) and they work great in general.

WMC (on Windows 7 x64) now plays everything (mkv, flv, etc), but I can't get it to use FFD.

When I use WMP (x64) to play the same files.FFD and Haali do show up in the tray and work flawlessly

I tried a couple of settings, but didn't manage to get it running.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Martin

In the 64bit Settings Application, SWAP TAB, disable the Microsoft Audio and/or Video decoder.

Also, if you have problems with MKV files, disable the DivX MF splitter on the MKV TAB.

Thanks for the speedy help!

I already had Microsoft Audio disabled, disabling the DivX MF did the trick.

Interestingly, the DivX MF Splitter also broke playback some mp4 files, which is now working again. Is there any drawback in not using the DivX Splitter?

The DivX splitter does the MKV thumbnailing and also assists MKV playback on the xbox360 extender. Disabling it is required for proper Media Center playback.
