Hauppage IR Remote not working for all users
Im running Windows 7 and have a hauppage Freesat Tuner card which comes with a remote control.
I have installed the WInTV IR remote software from the installation CD.
When I am logged in as administrator the "IR.exe" has an active icon in the taskbar running programs and I have no problems using the remote.
If I log in as another user (standard user) the remote does not work, there is no IR.exe program icon running in the task bar notifications although msconfig shows the hauppage IR remote as ticked to start with windows.
If I navigate through the C:\program files\WINtv\IR.exe and double click it, an error message says "problem starting the software" or something like that.
Why is this only working for me??
