Netflix always starts in windowed mode not fullscreen

I have a windows 7 ultimate MC system that is working just fine, a week or so ago I signed up and setup Netflix for streaming movies to the system. I love the new netflix addition but I have one minor glitch.
When I am in Media Center or in the netflix selection screen everything is in full screen mode as it should be however when I select PLAY for the selection the play screen shrinks to a windowed mode covering about 80% of the TV screen and if I pick up the keyboard and minimize the play box and then maximize it again it goes full screen and plays fine until the next time i start a streaming video and I always have to grab the keyboard to do this toggle down and back up to get full screen video. Is there some shortcut or setting I can set to make it run full screen all the time without the keyboard/mouse use?

I had similar issue until i edited the registry like so....

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings\DisplayService]
"PhysicalWidth"=dword:00000320
"PhysicalHeight"=dword:00000258
"LogicalWidth"=dword:00000320
"LogicalHeight"=dword:00000258
"Format"="RGB32"
"TvMode"="On"
"RefreshRate"=dword:0000003b
"Interlaced"=dword:00000001

The Physical and Logical setting listed did not match until i edited them. Your values may not be the same as mine, but all you need to do is convert the decimal height and width to hex values and enter them into both places. If you are running 800x600 on a Standard Definition tv like I was when I needed to make these changes, then the numbers I have will work.

For example, if you are running 1920x1080, then you will need to use the following settings...

"PhysicalWidth"=dword:00000780
"PhysicalHeight"=dword:00000438
"LogicalWidth"=dword:00000780
"LogicalHeight"=dword:00000438

Maybe that isn't your exact problem... but I hope it helps!

THANKS!! I will take a look at mine when I get home.
Was this only an issue for you when you ran streaming videos or whenever you were in WMC?

It's been a while, so I don't remember for sure... but I think the only "real" issue I had was with the Netflix window like you are describing.

I did find the answer, I had the PC video display set at 1920 X 1080 but in media center I had made a different display selection and as soon as I matched the PC selection everything works correctly.
I want to thank you guys for for the input as it prompted me to look into the settings and found the solution....
Thanks again
