    Media Center Image Rotation

When the picture screensaver comes up, most portrait photos are the wrong orientation. This happens because windows does not read the orientation flags in the jpeg images. If you open these photos in Adobe Bridge, they are the correct orientation.

The long solution is to rotate them manually in explorer (ew)

Anyone know of a way to make explorer identify jpg orientation?

Googleing your question brought up this tool that looks like it could do what you're wanting by scanning and automatically rotating images.

Thanks. I suppose that will work if I can't find a better solution.

I really want to make windows recognize the jpeg tags in the same manner that codec work for video... or FastPictureViewer works for raw files... I'd hate to have to rotate images that really do not need to be rotated.
