HDTV questions. Buying a TV with a media center PC in mind

    Well I pulled the trigger on the Samsung 42" plasma (720p) last night. Ultimately the price was the deciding factor; $399 is hard to beat. I have not built a HTPC yet but so far the picture is gorgeous. Assassins Creed Brotherhood has never looked so good!

    When it comes time to build up a HTPC I'll know more if I made the right decision. I realize there's always going to be 'better' but I'm going from an old CRT flatscreen (claims to be hdtv) to TRUE HD. So far I'm pretty stoked...

    Congrats on your new purchase. Enjoy whatever you have. As you said there is always something better but you have to click on something depending upon various constraints and considerations.:)
