WMC refuses to work

I am a lover of Windows Media Center. Recently I installed a brand new graphics card in hope that perhaps my Windows Media Center would run alot smoother. After installing it I had no errors so any hardware changes I had done prior to the problems I am experience do not derive from this change.

Ok so the problem that I am having is that when I start up WMC, it plays for about 30seconds and reverts to error message 'Viewing or Listening Conflict' or 'Windows Media Center Weak/No TV Signal'.

I have checked that my cable is plugged in properly and there are no loose connections.

I have reinstalled WMC (not sure if it really is a uninstall and reinstall) by removing it from the windows media features (Programs and Features), restarting and adding it back again.

However after saying all this I do remember that an error message did pop up before all this something to do with either a missing or a corrupt .dll 'mspluggin.dll' the exact name of the .dll i am not 100% sure what it was called.

Can anyone help?
