How to add music in FLAC to WMP 12 library

I have running Seven x64 with the default player WMP12 and Shark007 codec pack and x64 tools installed. The WMP12 x32 is the default player with all the file associations to it as (Shark suggestions) on the setup option.
My problem is that I tried to do as explained in this LINK and tried WmpTagExtender and wmp tag plus. The file plays but does not stay, is found or added on the !%&$&@! WMP12 library.
The wmptagextender worked on the laptop with the premium x64 version on the first try, but not here on the tower with the ultimate x64.
Someone can help me?

Thanks a lot!!!

Since the Shark007 codecs already supported flac playback in both 32bit and 64bit players before you followed the How-to-Break guide, adding madflac has created flac conflicts. I suggest you uninstall madflac 1st and then uninstall the Shark007 32bit Win7codecs. (Use the uninstall button on the Help TAB - the 64bit addon is not affected). Next uninstall any and all tag addons you may have installed. reboot. Re-install the 32bit Win7codecs, go to the Help TAB and click the file associations button and then install only WmpTagExtender, nothing else.

I just finished duing it and no luck.
It´s very strange, I´ve updated it all to the last version, wmptag to version 1.4, codec pack to x32-276 and x64-280.
What else am I missing here?
I´ve even had rebuilt the library again after all.
Thanks!

I've give-up adding the flac file in WMP12...I can only play them (with a warning), just to check they're listenable.

If it does not work for you,

Another tip is to decode flac:

You can follow the instructions here:

Problem with FLAC installer on Win Vista? - Hydrogenaudio Forums

Download the: http://members.home.nl/w.speek/download/MSCOMCTL.ZIP (unzip it and paste it in C:\Windows\SysWOW64)

Register it as said in C:\Windows\SysWOW64, the MSCOMCTL.OCX as explained by member "ROFLBBK"

Then download the Flac Plugin 1.2.1 .zip (unzip it in a folder you created "Flac Frontend" in your user data)

Then download HERE the Flac Frontend v1.7 ( extract it) then drop the files in the "Bin" folder of Flac Frontend folder you previously created.

Run the Flac Frontend.exe in the Bin folder, drag & drop or add flac files in it, and you're done!

This way you're not gonna have a troubleshoot installer.
You'll have to launch Flac Frontend.exe directly from the folder.

If you want to burn them, get winamp or foobar2000 or Eac...

Is there an codec suite that just works with FLAC without trouble? I tried L-Lite Codec Pack Mega that I used to use here before Shark007 Codecs but still no luck.
I´will try your solution today and see if it works.
Thanks for the answer!

Apparently problem solved here, I downloaded this :Windows 7 Codec Pack for Windows Media Player WMP12 and Media Center and it´s working so far.
Nothing else had to be done manually, just install, rebuild the library again (the worst part) and go!
Thank you all for the help.

I still have problems with the same folder and is just on this PC the other works fine, it´s really strange. It had added the files but worked for one day, after I turned on the PC on the next day the same problem appeared.
I uninstalled everything, WMP, codecs and reinstalled the WMP, the latest Shark codec pack, witch I prefer.
I even tried to use the Microsoft Fix It automated solution for it and nothing. Here is the site: Microsoft Fix it Solution Center: troubleshooting software issues
I´m still tring to solve the problem, I don´t know if the SRS plugin http://www.srslabs.com/ conflicts with Shark or WMP, haven't found nothing about it so far.
I also uninstalled the WMC because I never use it.
If anybody can give me some direction here I would very much appreciate it. This is really pissing me off!
I tried everything that NoN recommended, Shark007 recommended and still on the same here

The solution is posted on the Shark007 forum. <-- clicky

If the Shark007 solution works,
it would be great if you editted your post above linking to that crap knock-off of a codecpack
to save people the agony of dealing with it.

Sorry but I had to try Shark007, I´m trying to even understand what is stopping it form just appear on my library since in the laptop just appear as soon as I installed the same codec pack ther, both x64 OS versions, and here still no luck, with the music files. I´m almost coping the discs again but in lossless wma here.
The link you posted is to a (Disable ffdshow mp3 codec for specific program) topic. Will it make flac work? Is this the problem?
I did searched the Forum Home before posting here, it´s just I could not find a way to solve my problem there.
Can´t figure it out anymore, I´m almost giving up.
Thanks for the help!

Can you right click on the file and then 'open with' WMP?
