Media Streaming to TV isn't full screen

Hi everyone, a few months ago i upgraded to a new pc running windows 7.

My TV has DLNA connectivity and on my previous xp system i used to use the TV interface for streaming my media from the PC with no problems. I'd load up a movie for example and it would play in full screen on the TV.

Now with my windows 7 machine and i think it must be a newer version of WMP (version 12) if i use the tv interface it loads the file in it's original size (small). If i go over to my pc, right click the file select "play to" then click "home tv" it loads the file slightly larger and in widescreen format but still not full screen.

This is really frustrating and i cannot find a setting anywhere that alters this. Can anyone offer any help on this?

    Thanks all.

From the WMP interface, there are a few ways to enter and exit the full screen view.

    !. Alt + Enter.
    2. Right click on the screen and select Full screen from the menu.
    3. Click on the View full screen arrow in the right corner of the screen.

    Hope, it helps!
