Windows Media Player 12 lacks Synth

I've been exploring and looking for it but I don't seem to find it, I did my research too but I found that downgrading to Meda Player 11 is the most likely answer, which seems a rather difficult trick to pull off, is there any patch that makes the synth visible? or should I just downgrade? or just give it up and go back to good ol' winamp?

Winamp or VLC is my vote (from a WMP 11 ex user)

So I should just really give up on the WMP? XD Thanx, I'll get winamp then

Btw, it's very brave of you to have installed that Win 8 beta or whatever it is given that Windows 7 x64 doesn't even work properly yet, I know I know maybe it just doesn't work for me or I just don't know how to make it work, buy it really makes me miss WinXP stability and reliability, same as this faulty and incomplete Windows media player 12 ...
