Thats a pretty bad situation one can find himself in.Have they been deleted from the library only or from the source folder itself? If these had gone off your HDD itself without a trace, I am afraid using some data recovery software and trying to recover as much as possible is the only option. Other experts here may suggest solutions to recover.
If you had not backed up your data - that includes everything you consider you cannot afford to lose - now is the time to start.
