    7mc & mpeg

Hello ... after a loong winter.

In my movies library I have several in mpeg (m2v + mp2 muxed) and ripped DVD (VIDEO-TS folder).
When I load them from within 7mc the program crashes and a window error displays "Windows Media Center Stopped working...."

I have installed Shark007 codec pack and PowerDVD and this problem occurs with any setting I do.

    Any tips?

    Thx

On the MPG~MP4 TAB, under MPEG PLayback
    set - support older MPG's

If you still have problems, try the blu-ray splitter.

Does your version of Windows 7 include WMP 12?

    Hi Shark

    1. I don't have the option "support older MPG's" here!
My codec pack version is 2.6.3

    2. Where is located the option "blu-ray splitter" ?

    3. My WMP version is 12.0.7600.16667

    Thank you for replying

Current version is 278, I suggest you install a newer version.
On the Help TAB of the Settings Application, use the UNNISTALL button
Get the current release from MajorGeeks.

On the MPG~MP4 TAB of the Settings Application, under MPEG Playback
    set - support older MPG's

The link directs to version 2.77.
    Where is v. 2.78?

Current version is 2.7.7. May be 2.7.8 is ready to be rolled out by Shark007. Anyway install 2.7.7 and try. And that reminds me to update my 007 codecs which is still 2.7.4. Looks like I have slept on it for long.:)

Sorry for the mis-information. 277 is current.
On my system it is 278 because I am preparing for a new release within the next few days.

v278 will have "automated subtitle renderer selection".
How it works, depending on the users selection on the H264 TAB for a decoder, the proper subtitle renderer will automatically be set for use with the decoder selected.

For those who choose to disable subtitles, any time they change decoders on the H264 TAB, they will have to also go to the Config TAB and once again, disable subtitles.

    Ver 2.7.7 installed.

Things are improving, the media center has stopped crashing, but strange things still happen with my mpg files:
    1. the total time displayed beside that progress bar does not correspond to the real time of the movie, appears something like more than six hours of movie.
    2. when I jump to another part of the movie, subtitle remains in the same point it was, that is, it does not jump with the movie.

subtitles are external, in the same folder and with the same name of the movie (.srt)

    Any idea?

    Thanks
