Problem with media center

Hello,
About a few days ago i downloaden a file (.exe)
but it didn't open, but then i accidently opend the file with windows media centre
now this computer opens everu executable (.exe) files in windows media center... I tried to disable media centre but ir didn't word (since its a executable programme and media centre just pops up)

please help me!!

Hi, welcome to the forums

Your file association for exe files has been screwed up but don't worry, the following tutorial will help

Default File Type Associations - Restore

Scroll to EXE and download the registry key to reset your association
