Video files take forever to open. Used to work perfectly. Help!!!!!

    You are right Mickey (did I spell that right -LOL). I use a very loose language when it comes to Codecs. Shark already hit me over the head for that.

    2 things to try...
    update your graphics drivers from the chipset manufacturer
    AND/OR
    update the codecs.

    Uninstall the current codecs from the Help TAB of the Settings Application
    Get and install the latest release from MajorGeeks

    test your files

    If things work as they should, leave it alone
    If something is not right, press [Reset All], test again
    still not right? try using the [x] SUGGESTED settings

Ok this one has me stumped. I have been using dual monitors for a couple years now on my work PC (MSI 5450, HP 6005 Pro MT) and when I left work on Friday 8/28 it was working perfectly. Today I booted up my pc and the second montior (17" dell, my main is a 22" HP) is not displaying correctly....
ok, figured while I was looking around in this board, I might as well post about an issue I'm having when recording lets play videos on my pc. the audio is rather glitchy and artifacty when recording the game play footage, yet when I play the recorded file back on my pc, the audio is perfectly...
This all started earlier today it worked fine yesterday no changes to my computer at all this only happens with avi files cant do system restore I dont use restore points uses too much HDD space can you help me?
i get that error message whenever i try to open any type of video file on both MPC home cinema an Windows Media Player, it started yesterday and the things i've done since last playing a video and this error are: -uninstalling NVIDIA graphics driver and redownloading it (310m with CUDA)....
