Windows 7 - Media Browser help with backdrops please

I have had media browser set-up for some time now and I was recently adding a path to a folder for TV stuff so it shows up as one of my directories to navigate through.
I might have played with some other settings, can't remember but my problem is as follows: -

My posters load etc for all my films but the backdrops only actually display in the background once I press "OK" or select a poster (as if to go and play that film). Otherwise whilst scrolling through the posters I just have a Blue backdrop.

Now before, when scrolling through the posters left or right, whichever poster i stopped on, the backdrop would show behind.

What option or setting have I upset???

I also have a directory for kids films, now that behaves in the same way except the display mode for the posters is tiled rather than "coverflow" style. How do I change it so If im navigating my films or the kids the posters and backdrops display in the same way.
