Windows 7: Media Center crashes during rewinding?

Whenever I try to rewind a live video (PVR) MC crashes. When I move forward, however, there are no issues. This is after I have the video paused for a while and want to skip the commercials (I overshot them so I needed to rewind).



I have not tried this with recorded TV, only live TV.

Also, the video still plays after the crash. It says "Media Center has crashed" or something so I click OK and nothing happens. The video continues to play...I cannot do ANYTHING (controls etc frozen) and have to end the program via Task Manager > end eshell.exe.
