HTPC - 3D and clear QAM HD

I currently have a Vista Home Premium computer hooked up to my TV to be my Tivo and movie center. I am unable to get Vista's media center to support the clear QAM from my cable company so I have to try to pick up ATSC signal, which is not very strong in my region.
I am thinking of updating my whole system and I am wondering if Windows 7 Media center (with a compatible tuner) will support clear QAM or if it will play 3D BlueRay movies? I definitely want 3D so I'm wondering if its just time to give up on the HTPC idea and get a dish and BlueRay player ?

Windows 7 MC definitely supports clear QAM as long as you have the right tuner. Though for 3d I would suggest getting a decent Blu-ray player and hooking that up straight to your TV or Receiver. WMC tends to degrade picture quality slightly. They have some players now that also have Netflix, Pandora etc so you can make the best use of that.
