    Repeat process with...
    Windows orb > type cmd in search bar and run it as administrator. Copy

    regedit.exe /s VIDEO__AVI Moniker Class.reg

    right click in cmd windows, paste it and hit enter. Then search for

    {CD3AFA88-B84F-48F0-9393-7EDC34128127}

    Now try to play some of those videos in WMV / AVI in browser ... and cross your fingers!

    wmv in youtube worked.wmv on the sample page sound with black screen .avi works fine,

    With regard to WMV youtube ... Youtube plays only the MP4, 3GP and FLV formats.

    You reinstalled codecs package? And Gom player, is still installed?... Anyway, I refuse to give up ... We'll solve your problem!
