Burn Movie files to DVD

    Burn Movie files to DVD


    I would like to know if there is software available in Windows 7 to burn *.mov files to DVD?
    If not any recomendations for free software to do this.

    Hello jack
    Before you can burn your .mov file you have to convert-it.
    You can also download a free converter from the site below.
    http://www.formatoz.com/index.html

    After convertion you can also download a free burner from this site:
    http://www.imgburn.com/

    Windows 7 comes with Windows DVD Maker but not sure if it will take MOV files. Try it and see.

    Freemake Video Converter can do that for you in one action . . . it'll even create a little menu for you if you like! Great little program for geeks and noobs alike!

    Thanks a lot for all the replies but I must of been having a touch of the old timers disease my question should of read ' How to convert from AVI to DVD'

    No worries, Freemake Video Converter will do just about any video format and is great for non-techies! Very easy to use :]

    As I posted earlier Windows 7 comes with Windows DVD Maker and it is very simple but basic. It will do avi files. Check the options tab for the basic options. You can also add pictures.
