Sky HD through PC for 3D - Is it possible?

Hi All

I have a new NVidia GEFORCE GTX 580 1536MB graphics card on the way for 3D viewing of Movies within Media Center.

I was wondering if it possible to pass through Sky HD signal to use the 3D simulation?

I can't see that this card has an Input port, so I assume that the answer is no. Anyone tried?

Regards

Hi UKmedia,

I don't believe that Sky has a 3d channel on the media centre.

Also, take a look at this -- Sky Help Forum - Sky dropping sky Player on Windows Media Centre - Help & Support from the Official Sky Forum

Personally i would not bother taking out a subscription through Sky on media centre.

Get the main Sky player and see if that has the 3d channels you want.

well, surprisingly, you're going the wrong way to make something work, even if there was an input for the media, it still wont display a 3D image as your monitor needs to support polarisation, but if that's the case, then you might as well just plug it directly into the monitor

I was trying to use the simulation of 3D on 2D movies, is this something a 3D TV will do on it's own? I was going to use the NVidia 3D glasses.

Thanks for the comments.
