How to play Blu-Ray/DVD folders in Windows Media Center 7?

Hope someone can help me out.

I am able to playback .MKV files and ISO (Blu-Ray + DVD) but unfortunately I cannot play the Blu-Ray folders (BDMV + Certificate) folder and have the same with the DVD folders (Video_TS/Audio_TS). I receive the following message:

    "Cannot Play Video
Windows Media Center cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct"

Playback via TotalMedia Theatre works fine since I can open the disc folder but it fails via WMC7 ;(

    I am using:

    Windows Media Center 7
    MediaBrowser 2.3.2.0
    Metabrowser 2.0
    Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 5

Unfortunately this thread has no solution ;(

I do manage to play Blu-ray's but only via ISO format but I would like to play them directly from the folder so I don't have to convert them info an ISO format.

If you are able to decrypt the BluRays to your HD, and do not care about file sizes ..

You could extract the Video and Audio stream and mux them into a MKV container.

If this is just for PC playback, it will be a lossless file in MKV format.

I thought Total Media had a Media Center Plug in?

^ Or you can simply use MakeMKV MakeMKV - Download

Functionality to open DVD discs is free and will always stay free.
All features (including Blu-ray decryption and processing) are free during BETA.

Personally, I avoid all hassles and prefer to keep it all as ISOs and use Mikinho's Mount Image http://mikinho.com/wmc/mount-image/ to display and mount the ISOs from the native interface, either Movie Library or Video Library.

    Thanks for all your advice

Yes, TMT has a plugin and that is what I am using, I just figured out how to open up the folders within WMC. The only thing is that it will open the movie in a different screen. Not sure how to solve this.

Personally I think Mediabrowser is the best way to go, I don't like to use movie library.

I have more then 2000 MKV 1080p files synchronized with metabrowser (works perfectly). I also have around 50 complete Blu Ray movies (ISO and Folder).

Is there any way to stream DVDs to an Xbox 360 through WMC7 and make them show up in the "Movies" section?
