Recording of series

I have changed the tv tuner card in my pc, and after that the program guide show the episode number on series in a parentheses after the title.

This makes it impossible to tap twice on one show to have the whole series recorded !

So now I have to add the series as a 'search' on the title - but when this type is used it also searched in the program description, which causes a lot of other unintended programs to be recorded.

Is the some way around this?

I have the same since I did a rescan after installing SP1. Some series are OK, but many are not recognized as series anymore, which they were before the rescan. I didn't install any new hardware.
