Use 64bit media center with 32bit media player

    do the files play in wmp without using wmc?
    The files that used to play do they still play or is it just the new files?
    Sorry should have asked these earlier.

    Yeah they're playing perfectly in WMP, every format and with all the filters. And as you said it's the same 32-bit wmp playing the video files in both enviornments. It's just that media center is not opening up ffdshow for some reason.

    Did the link on post4 give you any pointers. Try the mega code pack. Be sure to choose custom and select wmp ensure that all radio buttons are selected for associations audio and video.
