WMC TV Channel Setup

I just scanned (several times) for my cable channels to set up WMC to watch TV. (I have a Hauppauge! WinTV HVR - 950Q). I scanned analog, digital QAM, and analog and digital QAM and it finds all of.... 10 channels of the hundreds we have via our basic digital cable. What am I doing wrong? Also, will it receive unscrambled channels above 100 - e.g., the Military Channel is 105 on our Cox Cable system.

Thanks!

are you comming out of your cable box?
if your not using your cable box then i think you can only get (2 to 13) in wmc.
all the others i think are scrambled and need the box .so wmc scans them and can't find strong signal and just skips them..

Humbug, Scrooge. I use a Hauppauge! WinTV HVR-950Q tuner. The coaxial cable screws directly into one end and the tuner plugs directly into a USB port. I had no problems on my previous HD.

(BTW, it's not working with Hauppauge's WinTV v7 either, but that is an unrelated software issue.)

Anyone....?
