TV SHOW metadata for each seson and episode !

    Hi

I have some collections of movies and tv shows that i usally watch via a media center ... i was wondering if i can find a friend who understand Movies and TV shows ( Metadata ). Usually with Tv Shows it is hard to find a data to display for each episode , naming the file and folders and so on ... pls advise if you have done this successfully

I am using Media center Win 7
    Media browser
    Media center master
    Win 7 64bit OS

The Ember Media Manager. worked fine with tv show for me but media center wont reconize the .xml file it is made for xmbc not work media center or media browser .. now i dont want to use xmbc because i tried it and it did not work for me

I can try it again but not sure really XMBC had something in setting or configurations that i did not understand and doc or wiki was not very clear or i might be a dumm guy after all

as far sickbeard i just tried it and wont work for me because i already have huge collections over 1 TB tv shows and 2 TB of movies lol i have 6 TB spice just for my media collections and found so far

Media browser with media center works great
MCM meida center master work perfect with movies
the renamer for tv show is nice tool to rename tv shows i will be using it alot like mcm

But i cant find TV Meta data program that can genrate .xml file for individual tv episodes i been testing millions softwares so far and also i am using win 7 64bit service pack 1 and alot of programs cant work properly with it ...

Anyone else had same problem and was able to fix it ...

    Thank you

I am having problem with meta browser

    1- My File structure

    Hard Drive E

    Media Center
    TV Shows
    Movies
    Documentaries
    ect

    Under Tv Show i have

    Mental
    3rd rock for the sun
    Friends with benefits
    the big bang theory
    ect

    Under The big bang theory
    Seson 1
    Seson 2
    Seson 3

Under Season 1 i have all my videos in the original format that it was downloaded

Now i can use the renammer to rename the files but to much manual work or i can allow meta browser to scan folders and get info for me lol

    For Example:

    E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS\Friends with Benefits

    Something like this :

    E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS\The Big Bang Theory\The Big Bang Theory S01

    OR

    E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS\Two and a Half Men\Two and a Half Men Season 1

So that is how my Collections look like in 6TB 3 different hard drives right now

So when i try to scan individual files E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS\Two and a Half Men

Metabrowser does not find files because it stop finding correct info because their is S1,2,3,4,5,6,7

so that is my new issue

    Please advise

    Thank you

Your folder structure seems correct, although if I understand correctly, your issue is that your seasons are named s1, s2, s3, rather than s01, s02, s03? Whilst a huge job, you'll probably need to rename to s01, s02, etc. Personally, I'd do this manually - it may take some time but should resolve your problem.

Additionally, from your screenshot, you don't seem to be scanning at the root of your E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS as you're getting the seasons coming up in the metabrowser list rather than the series itself. Make sure under the general and tv tabs, you set the monitored folders to E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS, not to E:\MEDIA CENTER\TV SHOWS\two and a half men, etc.

Let us know how you get on, Warren

If you don't mind paying for it (there is a trial version), the best solution to organizing and playing videos is Movie Collector:

DVD Database software, catalog your DVD and Blu-Ray movies

It has a plugin to integrate with Media Center, but I prefer to use VLC, which it does automatically when selecting a video from it's interface. I also use XBMC, but I have found that the available scrapers leave a lot to be desired. Between Movie Collector's scraper and manually entering data from IMDb, my collection's data is complete, and with ~ 1450 movies + ~ 2500 TV episodes, that is saying something.
