Regarding Windows Media Center Audio and sound Issue !

Hello,

Straight to the problem :

I use media Center with Media Browser because it is supper easy and supper organized way to display videos and movies and tv shows from main menu of Media Browser. Setting is also very easy and it works inside Media center.

Problem:

Movies Quilty and sound goes down or get dim or it hard to hear the movies .... In some movies such as Blu - Ray H264 1080p i have to bring my TV sound option to 100% to berly be able to hear sound .... Same thing goes to Video ... i really would love to get this fixed

Hi

This won't be anything to do with Media Browser but we do need you to fill more of your system specs please. Power Supply? Run dxdiag (search and then select from list - please click 64 bit depending upon your OS version) and please attach the file output.

By reading your Directshow Filters list it is obvious to me that you are using the 301 version of the Shark007 codecs. I suggest that you uninstall that version (uninstall x64 1st, there is an uninstall button on the Help TAB of the Settings Application) and install current releases of the Win7codecs and x64Components addon.

After installing current releases, open the 32bit app as an administrator (rightclick the shortcut to get the administrator option), go to the Audio TAB, and select to use normalization. Do the same in the 64bit app.

i tried both methods and it did not work ... Tv Show sound is great but when it come to movies it dim ... i have to go from 15 to 80 im my tv remote control to hear even some words and that even in action movies that are very loud

You problem may be related to how audio is set up on your system.
Following THIS POST on the Shark007 forum will assist with system setup.

Another option to assist with audio is to use the button on the Audio TAB, 'setup LAV audio' and simply close the configuration window that pops up.

Hello,

That fixed most of the movies sound issue but when playing WMV blu ray via windows media player or media center the sound get dim or still very low

WMV is a Microsoft format decoded by Microsoft decoders in the Windows players. The only way to improve on WMV playback is to use an alternate player such as MPC- Homecinema downloaded rom my tools page.
