Mouse get locks into extended monitor screen when WMC is in full scree

Looking for some help with this issue, It just started happening and I am not sure what has changed. It didnt do this before.
I am running windows MC on an extended screen from my PC. When I set WMC to full screen I can no longer get my mouse back to my main dsiplay screen. If I take wmc to a pane all works fine, but this is annoying for many reasons. Also when I set my resolution for my extened monitor (Samsung 50" Plasma TV) it keeps changing back to a resolution that is not correct for the screen. I have tried about everything I can think of will no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Eric

It is normal. Nothing 'happened' to cause it.
Press the Windows key on the keyboard to escape.
