Windows 7 - Error 0x80048008 publishing with WLMM

After creating a movie with Windows Live Movie Maker I save the project and then save the movie to a folder on my computer. Then when I select publish > YouTube and choose the size , without hesitation, it pops up this error:


I clicked the Sign In button and nothing happened, no password form or anything. I checked the WLID web page and it said I was already signed in, so that must not be the problem. Any other ideas? WLMM worked fine last time I used it.

I just realized it happens the same if I try to publish a video with Windows Live Photo Gallery. Just the error code is different. 0x80070422

Movie Maker is different from Live Movie Maker, but I did find a Windows page with the YouTube WLMM upload plugins. So I downloaded it and installed it, still same problem. That plugin, LiveUpload.YouTube.dll, was created in 2008. I hope it's the newest. You'd think a Windows website would provide the latest version, but you know windows... Google turns up nothing newer. Besides that, it won't upload to any of the other offered hosts.

Sooo, still got the problem. I'm resourceful enough to upload without the help of WLMM, but I want it to work right.
