windows 7 device manager perfect, trouble shooter says no media player

first time every asking online for help built 10 plus systems in my life never had trouble like this my system ran perfectly for over a year and when I had to install microsoft office it all went to {wrong} the event I find 7036 hit my computer last hour 34 day 2034 week 9688 times the action center says in hardware section I might have a device change and continually tries to detect an unknown driver it started when i installed microsoft office 2010 i have already reformatted 3 times removed all usb items uninstalled video network adapters sound card then rebooted and let my system find and reinstall it all my device manager is perfect but the action center looks for device or drives making the noise when you plug in or remove a device from usb ports only thing I can think of is when i first loaded office it loaded 32bit and not 64 as i reloaded it last night 64 bit to see if it was fixed but nope every time the trouble shooter does it's think causes my system to freeze for a sec or 2 causing whatever im doing to lock up this has made it impossible to use machine as i want to scream i cannot turn off the alarm and action as i tried to turn off every known thing but it seems to be rouge program not associated to my computer as no errors are in my device manager bit of history my first computer was an 1977 IBM clone with dual 5 1/4 floppies windows 95 cause me trouble back then now this anyone have a clue?
