Windows 7: Some buttons in Live TV just disappeared

I am talking essentially of record and tv guide shortcut, at left of the stop button.

It is the second time that it happens.

The first time I read that it could be solved through Windows features. So I turned it off and hell broke loose. I had to do a complete reinstall. I won't try this again.

So I have a complete new installation, but the buttons seem to have disappeared after tens windows updates that I applied.

I wonder if it is something wanted after this one was executed;

I just real;ized that when it is in full screen the buttons are back.... normal behaviour?

I found my solution.... my windows was simply too small! I enlarged it and they came back.
