Win 7 Media Centre Power Up Function...

Hi all,
I am in Sydney, Australia (if that matters lol)
I have been using Compro DVT 4 for recording TV via my Compro T750 tv tuner card and found it ok but it won't scan digital channels now?
So anyway it has a feature to turn the PC on to record and then turn it off when it has finished so I can record when I am not at home, can I do that with Windows 7 Media Centre?

Windows Media Centre seems a more slick and better program I can record with it no problems but I really like the "power up" function of Compro

Cheers
Keith

Welcome to the forums kblake.

Follow this link and I think this nice little
plugin MAY be what you are looking for:
Add a Sleep Timer to Windows 7 Media Center - How-To Geek

Maybe not? You want something that can turn the PC on also - not sure if this
plugin will work both ways and i guess sleep isn't exactly shutdown either
is it!

Good luck mate
