Then you need to install one or the other of these two in order to control which monitor you want your slideshow to appear on.

I mean the Sslideshow out of the explorer not the MC slideshow and your links have to do with the WMC.

Again no!
After everything failed with the WMC i tried to watch the pictures on the photo viewer. But the slide show appears just on the wrong screen (photo viewer). And only the WMC is slow not the slide show of the photo viewer.

You have several options:
  • Try those two programs to control the monitor placement. Whichever viewer you use
  • Try resetting the color settings
  • Use a viewer program other than WMC or Photo viewer.
  • Do a repair install.

installed x64 win7 on my desktop specs: e8500@4.1 ghz 4gb 1066 ram 280gtx 750 hd space tried running media center and found it very slow at responding, anything i can do are other people experiencing this?????

I have quite a few folders, with quite a few photos contained in them. When viewing these, and this happens even with folders that have as few as 20 pictures....it takes FOREVER to load thumbnails....and even then it might take a minute to view the actual picture when I double click on it. ...
