Windows media player write protect last played file - any solutions?

Hi

There is something that annoy me very much with windows media player.
When I play a song and quit media player the file is write protected, so I cant edit the file or the folder the file is in. I know that this a common effect of using wmp. At the moment I use "unlocker" to unlock the file from media player, but this take to much time. Is there any way to stop media player from locking the last played file?

Thanks for any help
