I have been using Media Center to download and record TV programs and to display them on my LCD TV. In chasing other problems I apparently have changed something wherein I can no longer get MC to find the video tuner so nothing gets recorded and I get the message "No tuner available to satisfy current request". When I try to go back thru setup it can't find the tuner. Interesting the program "Total Media" that came with the tuner can see it and I can record a program but it has no connection to MC. The Device Manager (attached) shows the various PCI units on my system and they all appear normal except one just called "PCI Device" with the yellow flag. When I reinstall the
driver the the yellow flag remains.
Since the names are so non descript I don't really know what the PCI Device with the flag really is. I would think the tuner is the one that says PCI ATSC/QAM but that doesn't have a yellow flag and I have reinstalled that driver and it must be working to allow the Total Media software to work.
Anyhow I've reached my limit of things to try. Any ideas?
