Windows 7 display problems

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem?

I recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, my media centre is plugged into the TV via a HDMI cable and my set up has remained the same.

When I configuired the media centre to the TV via the TV settings, my picture does not expand to the full width of my tv and I have a nice black boarder around it?

I have set it to the highest resolution.

thanks for your assistance

You didn't mention what graphics card you're using, but the problem is called underscanning.
If you've installed the AMD or Nvidia driver packages, you can fix it through the software.

The device adapter in the device manager says ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics.
