I have a Hauppauge HVR 1250 with a USB based IR Receiver/Blaster and a MCE certified remote. I have Time Warner Cable's Pace DC550P Set Top Box with a universal remote they gave me. I am trying to set up MCE Live TV. The MCE Certified remote works to navigate in MCE but I cannot get MCE to learn the codes to my set top box. TV signal is fine, just the channel changing problems. Tried all suggestions MCE offered with no success. I have repositioned the blaster several times, tried to program the remote manually (i keep having to press, hold, release the 0 button over and over and over), automatic setup does nothing, and selecting my set top box codes from the list doesn't work either.
I want to have this auto change channels for live tv recording, so this is a must! Any help would be appreciated.
