    editing 7mc menu

right now, I can only figure out how to add/remove strips from the media center menu. Is more complex editing possible? E.g. I'd like remove the useless icons (burn cd/dvd, sync, add extender, media only, etc) that are populating my "Tasks" strip. Also, if possible, I'd like to move my "extras library" icon in the "extras" strip to the "tasks" strip, and then remove the "extras" strip altogether. I used to be able to do these sort of things with Menu Mender, but it doesn't seem to work with 7mc... Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't think it's possible (atm!!!). I want very similar things for my MC but i haven't found anything so far. The best thing to use so far (i've found) is the tool mentioned above and this from hack7mc.com

I'm always on the look out for these sort of things, if i come across anything useful i'll PM you

I've updated my HideMediaCenterStrips to also hide\add custom strips. I also created a small plugin for using the native apps (i.e. Movie Library, Video Library, ...) from custom strips: http://www.mikinho.com/wmc/mc7apps-v1.0.msi. Sometime soon I'll also make HideMenuStrips be able to add\remove tiles so you can all your menu work from a single app. Note: It does require W7 RTM at the moment, RC won't work as some APIs have changed
