Windows 7 Ultimate x32, ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Where does media center store my recordings?

i have my drive partitioned 80 gigs for windows 8 consumer preview and 400 ghigs of space for 7 but where does 7 store my recordings... want to watch them on 8

any help would be lovely!

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RTM

I've moved the location on my PC, but I believe the default storage was in "C:/users/Public/Public Recorded TV"

You tell it where during setup before you use it for the first time...

Windows 7 Pro x64 (1), Win7 Pro X64 (2)

In Windows Media Center, go to Tasks.

Then follow Settings -> TV -> Recorder -> Recorder storage

This will allow you to relocate the "Recorded TV" folder to whatever drive or location you care to put it on.

But the folder will be named "Recorded TV" in the root of the drive you put it on.
