Windows 7 - newest build of windows media player 12

I have the RC 1 Windows 7 how may I obtain legally the latest build for wmp12?

You mean obtaining Windows mediaplayer 12 for vista or xp??
In that case my friend it is not available for vista or xp.

WMP 12 is integrated in windows 7. WMP 12 has not been released for vista or xp.

And latest version of WMP is 12.0.7600.

You cant get standalone installer for WMP 12. It is integrated in windows 7.
Install the latest windows 7 build 7600 and you will get the latest windows media player with it...

Ouch but if I do that will it let me use my MS official license key and were do I obtain the newer build's other then torrents. My isp blocks them.

No the keys that activates Windows 7 Rc will not activate the new build.
In order to download it and to get license key now you have to be a paid member of technet or MSDN.

Or you have to wait till oct 22 for windows 7 to hit the stores..

Hi guys, my issue is I accidently deleted some wmp12 registry keys and broke it (dont ask...) now I need to re install it but if there is no installer? Any ideas?

First, try using using system restore..it does not delete any user files, but will fix what you broke...make sure you pick a date and time before you broke it. You may have to redo any other system changes you made since then, like drivers, etc.

click start menu button, then type 'restore', then click on 'system restore' and follow the prompts.
